Urban planning is the science and art of development and management of urban communities of all sizes, villages, cities and regions to address their problems; it also cares for economic and social aspects, taking into account the aesthetic and functional aspects in the coordination of activities and different urban spaces. The concerns of this specialty are the preparation of development plans at the national, regional, urban and rural levels as well as land schemes, the distribution of land use, urban design inside the cities, and the schemes of reconstruction and development.
